About the Book

What happens when a tech executive trades corporate meetings for meth‑fueled street survival? Arnel Castro Leyva loses everything as his double life collapses during the COVID lockdown. He descends into “The Life”—drug dealing, financial scams, grand theft auto, living with prostitutes, and organized retail crime—before a strict yet therapeutic criminal justice program offers a path to redemption. Along the way, he finds the startup idea of his life: helping formerly incarcerated people with substance use disorders build a life worth living—and realizes he’s been on the path to enlightenment all along.
